Activities

Haga-Haga is located 60 km north of East London, on the Wild Coast. The village is nestled between the hills and the sea at the mouth of the Haga-Haga River, where one can sail or paddle ski in the warm shallow waters, or go beachcombing in the craggy rock pools and spacious beaches, all set against the panoramic backdrop of rolling green hills.

A wooden deck overlooks the ocean, framed by sunlight and gentle waves in the background.

Haga Haga walks

Whale Point Walk
A lovely walk with stunning elevated views from the top of our highest point. Continue walking over the hill and get a glimpse of Pullens Bay and follow the trail down the other side of the hill onto the beach and then back along the shoreline to the hotel. Don't miss Fairy's Pool. (30 min walk)

Krantz Garden Walk
Walk towards the cottages along the road or beach & bypass the Whale Point marker and proceed to the last house on Fisherman's Walk – Land's End. Carry on walking along the bottom of our hill and follow the shoreline until you reach Pullens Bay (30 mins walk)

Otter Creek Trail
This is an inland walk. From the hotel head towards the Haga Haga shop and turn right as you are going up the hill. Follow the signs.

Lagoon View Walk
This is another pleasant walk interspersed with benches at strategic points where the views are great. Walk along the road towards the main beach and turn left just before the last house. Follow the signs to the top of the hill with great views of the main beach and lagoon. The trail comes down through the bushes to the lagoon and main beach. (20 mins)
